Hindustan Times (its Mumbai edition is expected to hit the news stands anyday this week) or The Times of India( a newspaper that I have been reading for more than a quarter of a century.. .geeez that makes me sound so ancient) ??????
TOI has been my choice too for a long long time now.. i m kind of used to its layout, the font etc.. that if i pickup any other newspaper i find something missing in it...
though TOI is growing more n more commercial these days, and less on real good contents... Content wise i like Indian Express, and i read it on internet... ;-)
I'm all for TOI as well coz that's what I've been reading for over a decade now and that's saying something when I'm not even two decades old... so I guess till now the verdict has been pretty unanimous...wotsay
btw Sangeeta, I posted a new poem the very same day u asked for an update.. do go thru it n keep egging me on lest I lose my zeal :-)
When I started reading newspaper more than a decade ago, it was Times of India. It has became a part of my life and I can't think of starting my day with TOI. Its true that it has become more commercialised and "Tabloid like" but TOI is TOI.
Anyday....The Hindu is the BEST! You will never find in Hindu the kind of grammatical and spelling mistakes abundant in The TOI. All Southerners will swear by The Hindu!
