it breaks my heart to see kids treat their parents shabbily when they grow up. Kids who mock their very own humble beginnings and feel embarassed to acknowledge their parents coz they dont fit into their new 'social set' which they wdnt have gotten into had it not been for the hard work and sacrifices made by their parents. Sad to see such self proclaimed successes who straitjacket their parents into their new lifestyle without considering whether or not their parents are comfortable with it.
Sorry guys...no matter what u earn and where u live and what u drive, .if you cannot treat ur own parents well, you fail to impress me. Can u really find true happiness after hurting the ones who gave u birth and brought u up with such pains?

True that. You see this scenario a lot here in the UK where the immigration from India was predominantly unskilled people from the small towns and villages of Punjab. Despite the humble beginnings many of their sons and daughters are now high flying lawyers, doctors, entrepreneurs, etc. Although the parents are uneducated and many still not fluent in the language of their host country, it was their emphasis in giving the best education and upbringing that was the main driver for their offsprings' success.
ReplyDelete@HaRy- It is SICK, but dont you think they know it themselves?
ReplyDelete@Bikram- It will be sad if the same thing happens to them as well...
