Summer 2010

56 days, 10 movies, 8 blog posts, 7 1/2 books, 3 reunions, 1 Tuesday Pick, 1 play, 1 blog meet, countless love, homecooked food, endless hours on Facebook and Twitter, a long impending end, and a new beginning...
Does my vacation have to really really end?

  1. I am new to your blog. Therefore, I don't know the background. 56 days vacation? Pls tell me which company you are working. I want to apply there.

But I love the idea you enjoyed to the fullest.

  3. Thanks Sangeeta. I am glad I found your blog. You are in the Middle East? I was also sort of. My company here in USA transferred me to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for 3 years. I don't think that fall into the category of Middle East. Now I know how you got 56 days of "Casual Leave".

By the way what subject you teach? I am a history junkie.

  5. You are lucky to be working in Doha as opposed to Riyadh. Travelled once to Doha by car and it took 11 hours. May be we can share our mutual experience.

  11. I see that you're teaching at Riyadh. Though i'd been an expatriate before a couple of years, now i'm settled in India, peaceful :)

I would like to know how schooling in Riyadh is, mean in abidance with the rules of the land. Do curriculum undergo any change?
