At peace…

I joined SSY (Siddha Samadhi Yoga) at the bidding of my bestie, who had concluded this course in August. “You’ll be a changed person", she said, "by the time you complete this course”.
If the name Siddha Samadhi Yoga, didn’t conjure up images of men dressed up in saffron, sitting cross-legged in dark caves, in my unenlightened mind, it did manage to invoke nightmares of different organs of my body getting entangled with each other in an attempt to have a go at the oh-so intricate yogasanas. Eventually, I signed up for the course, needless to say, unwillingly. It entailed waking up at unearthly hours for a fortnight, save Mondays (much to the relief of my languid mind, and body)
To my astonishment, it was completely different from what I had imagined. There's so much that I have acquired in these ten days, (and I haven't completed the entire course yet) and had fun at the same time, it has only added to my gusto and zest for life and yet I am at peace...
