very interesting question .. infact both the terms are used as its plural.. personally i prefer mouses as it doesnt squeak - it clicks .. or as John Mayor says "There is one way to avoid confusion . I do not have two mice and I do not have two mouses ... I have one mouse and come to think of it, I have another mouse."

I think mouses is more appropriate. I believe both are correct usage.
